This blog is about showcasing the best Yorkshire has to offer the bride-to-be. That makes Debbie Carlisle a must feature.

Sheffield-based Debbie is well known in the business for her vintage-inspired jewellery bouquets, which mix antique brooches and buttons with crystals, pearls and diamante to create a one-off keepsake. Now she’s launched her 2012 accessories collection.

As you might expect if you’ve seen any of her bouquets, her accessories effortlessly fuse vintage charm with a modern edge. It’s a stunning selection of sparkles, beads, lace, ribbon and feather ~ headpieces and cuffs inspired by the 1920s, 50s, 60s and 70s but with a fashion-forward twist.

The organza ribbon bands are a key feature, and can be worn as headbands or forehead bands, so brides can mix up their look and wear their headpiece after the wedding day. Alongside these are sparkling combs, off-centre beaded headbands and feather headpieces.

Debbie said: “I wanted to make this collection as versatile as possible so brides could wear their chosen design in many different ways. I wanted to give them maximum choice about their on-the-day look – or looks – and also give them the option of wearing their bridal headpiece over and over, long after their wedding day has gone.”
