Last month there was an exciting new addition to the bridalwear industry when Kitty and Dulcie launched, selling vintage-inspired wedding dresses online for under £400.

Kitty and Dulcie is the sister company to established vintage accessory company Flo and Percy.

Flo and Percy’s principal and head designer Kirstie Taylor fulfilled a long-held ambition when she teamed up with Shelley Carter-Bright and the pair launched their company, named after their beloved grandmothers, who were their style inspiration.

City Slicker ~ £385

Cockney Rebel ~ £385

Dolly Rocker ~ £250

Pearly Queen ~ £285

The first ‘Strictly London’ collection has knee-length, tea-length, full-length vintage-inspired wedding dresses made for fashion-conscious females with a passion for retro glamour.

A little bird told me Shelley and Kirstie are already working on next year’s collection, so I asked if they could give me an exclusive insight into what’s in store:

“We’re just at the drawing board stage at present. We’re currently doing as much research as possible to find out what brides-to-be would be looking for in a new collection.”

They’re keen to hear from you so is you have any suggestions, please add a comment below and I’ll make sure they’re passed on to Kitty and Dulcie.

Bobby Dazzler ~ £285
