Introducing… The Yorkshire Vintage Crockery Company

This English country garden wedding ~ with all its charm, DIY and personal touches ~ is among my favourites from the blog so far.

For months before the wedding, bride Charlotte Lloyd and her mum Victoria Herring scoured local charity shops and car boot sales to add authentic vintage touches to their garden party theme.

Now the pair from Beverley, East Yorkshire have set up The Yorkshire Vintage Crockery Company.

Charlotte says: “My mum and I spent months collecting crockery for my own wedding and became quite attached to it therefore decided to hire it out so other people can enjoy it too.  It has now become more of a hobby so we are constantly updating the range.

“We are both really passionate about beautiful vintage pieces and love collecting new items to add to the collection. It also gives us a great excuse to shop!

“As well as the crockery we have picnic baskets, tinned buckets, lace jars, water bottles….the list goes on!

“The crockery can really transform any table at a wedding and add that vintage charm to make it special and wow your guests.”

They can also set up for your wedding ~ and do the washing up afterwards!

♥ The Yorkshire Vintage Crockery Company have a special offer for Angel in the North readers ~ 10% off all orders over £100 placed before the end of February 2012.

Lovely idea! We once photographed a wedding at Sandhole Farm Barn Cheshire where the bride had done a similar thing and collected a bone china teacup for each and every guest to use as a favour, rather than a disposable box of pretty chocolate or lottery ticket in an envelope.I still have mine as a memento. I bet this charming idea will be popular with many creative brides/ Thanks for sharing it with us! xx
